Ramjet Innovation
Welcome to RamJet Innovation

Corporate & Government

"What the hell is it good for?" - Robert Lloyd, engineer at IBM commenting on the microprocessor.

Within larger corporations and goverments, the drive for systems and control is often seen as working against creativity, leaving opportunities for small competitors to steal market share, and costs to rise.

The RamJet process forms an ideal foundation for spreading a culture of innovation amongst all departments. The process can be applied to marketing, systems design, procurement and customer relations, as well as technical projects.

Executive Development
By training key staff in the RamJet process, we can help embed a culture of innovation within the organisation. The teaching programme covers the latest thinking on innovation, the RamJet tools and practical workshops to build users' confidence.

The standard programme is 2 days of intensive work, but alternative structures are available through discussion.

Skunkworks Projects
Innovation work can often be resisted by management teams with full agendas, because it is unpredictable and time-consuming. Our specialist team of innovators can take on the "fuzzy front end" of projects, pulling in specialists from your own team as required. The Skunkworks concept was first used by Xerox and has proven very effective at breaking the constrained thinking that unavoidably develops in complex organisations.

Tiger Team leadership
Where there is a running project or a close tie between the innovation and existing teams, the Skunkworks can be too removed. In this case we place an interim leader and selected specialists into the organisation to lead and support a mainly in-house team. Tiger Teams are very effective at project turnaround and cost reduction.
